How friendly can big Savannah cats be?

Unless you're a circus performer, chances for your interactions with big cats will be limited to visits to the zoo and the occasional tiger rampage . But let's be honest : Who among us has not dreamed of how amazing it would be to take your jaguar or cheetah for a walk around the neighborhood ? Alas , we're all too aware that even ordinary house cats are doing some serious damage when they really put their mind to it. A big cat could (and would ) just straight up claw - slap your face next Thursday as soon as look at you.

But what if science somehow combine it with, say , a regular house cat ? And then subsequent registration hellspawn like a cat breed official and you could buy one and name Mr. Claws and make it wear a scarf and have crazy adventures with him forever wonder ?

Because that's what they did altogether . The savannah cat , named to command his African heritage , was first introduced to the world in 1986 from Bengal breeder Judee Frank . In 2001 the International Cat Association as a new breed register .

The fact that it is huge and ridiculously sweet - looks just the tip of the iceberg for the awesome cat Savannah . It is much more faithful than your tabby who - gives - and shit - average , to the point that it is like a dog . And yes , you can absolutely achieve the shit out of the " wild beast taken out for a walk " fantasy with them . What's more , the savannah cat is the aversion to water that most cats do, and some people actually take a shower with them , because there is no possible way that will emergency room leads to a funny story . Oh, and they also instinctively friendly to children .

If for some reason you still do not feel like shelling out thousands of dollars for serval hybrid , it is always the budget version : For between $ 500 and $ 1500 , you can pick up Pixie - Bob , the result what is claimed to have trysts between American Bobcats barn cats naturally occurring . Of course , it pays to remember that they are also called " Legend Cats " as there is no proof that the above scenario has never actually happened. But does Pixie - Bob actually part BOBCAT or just the result of some spectacular feats breeding , the fact remains that it looks an awful lot like BOBCAT , and has many of the most attractive features of the savannah .
